COACHING

CBT has evolved from psychological science as a therapeutic aid to a wide range of psychological disorders. But CBT is not just for getting well, it’s for living well. It’s a science and toolkit for change even where there’s no psychological disorder, improving lives by helping us to:

  • manage emotions

  • think effectively

  • improve relationships and intimacy

  • make better decisions

  • manage people and work challenges more effectively

  • break unhelpful behavioural patterns

  • assert and negotiate

  • resolve conflict

  • set and protect boundaries

  • tackle perfectionism and procrastination

  • cope with the emotions and behaviours of those around us.

With more than 30 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, I bring to my coaching a deep understanding of the business world, including organisational dynamics, conflict and its resolution, the challenges of high-pressure environments, stress management, coping with change, workplace efficiency, work-life balancing, and inter-personal effectiveness.  Combining that experience with the science, skills and psychological insights of CBT provides a potent toolkit for catalysing organisational and personal change.

I’m passionate about helping people and businesses to work and live better using the tools of CBT. My CBT coaching, whether in group programmes or one-to-one mentoring, is carefully tailored to the specific needs and interests of each client, so contact me if you’d like to explore how I may be able to help you.
